OSC Mapper

An OSC receiver that maps OSC parameters to Ableton Live. OSC Mapper's 5 OSC parameters can each be mapped to 4 of Live's parameters simultaneously, with a settable range for each. Each Live parameter can also have a "default" value that is settable and callable via a "reset" OSC message.

Address:

The text box above each mapper is where you write the address for each parameter.

Address Prefix:

The address prefix box is optional. It will add to the beginning of all parameter addresses. this can be used to identify a controller (e.g. /controller1/param1) or simply to add a slash at the start of each address

Port:

set the port to receive OSC from

Default / Reset:

use the Default value by sending any OSC message to a parameter address with /reset added to it (e.g. send 1 to /param1/reset). As soon as an OSC message is received from the normal parameter OSC address, the value will go back to that.

Mapping:

Mapping can be done by activating the Map button then clicking a parameter in Live. MAKE SURE YOU DEACTIVATE THE BUTTON AFTER MAPPING. You can also use the Track, Device and Parameter menus to map without having to click anything.

4 pages:

The buttons labeled 1,2,3,4 at the bottom of each parameter are how you switch between the 4 Live parameters that each OSC parameter can map to. There are lights underneath each of these to indicate whether that slot is being used to map to a parameter.
